I read this book while visiting my family for the memorial service of my brother. Therefore, a book which might otherwise be impossible to put down kept getting set aside, mentally and physically, to be replaced with grief. So under other circumstances, I might have given this book five stars. I do wish we got to revisit these characters more. Each book so far has been about a new character, and each has left me wanting more of that character. As this book says, only time will tell.Product details

Cloak of Fury Veil Knights Book 5 eBook Rowan Casey Reviews
I became hooked with books one and two but this volume was disappointing, at first. It had the exact and first few chapters, word-for-word as volume two. But after that letdown I was once again engrossed. These volumes have excitement, suspense, humor, intrigue and more. They are hard to put down until you're finished. The characters are well-written are relatable. I'm awaiting volume four. Come on, Rowan, git-er-done!
Love the fact that this series is based on the Knights of the round table. Each book is well written and a joy to read.
Need to read all prerequisite books.
Each book in the series features a different character and the quests they undertake to collect magical artifacts. Fun read
The story was good. I think Fury was portrayed as a little whiney for a character who was supposed to be a tough a** black ops guy. Every dialogue he had he told everyone how misunderstood he was even when talking to the enemy.
I like the whole concept of different authors writing together to tell a story. It's been pretty interesting so far. I would like a book about the story more so than the characters, soon. If that makes any sense. It's pretty good urban fantasy.
I didn't care for this book in the Veil Knights series. Fury was a bland characte, rather than the aggressive black ops type I would have expected. The story line was good, but the character seemed so unqualified for the circumstances he found himself in and the ending was flat. The author has a good writing style which made this a good read, but not an exciting one.
